(Pro tip: keep a special sticker book that only comes out during quiet time.)

2. Audiobooks or Read-Along Stories
Listening without watching still counts as screen-free.
Audiobooks help children rest their bodies while their imagination does the work—perfect for kids who struggle to fully “turn off.”
We also have a tonne box, it was a game changer, they can listen to a story while you do a chore. I personally recommend the tonic to kids 3 and up that have the attention span for longer. I’ll link our tonie box here. (Our favourite tonies are pooh bear, Roald Dahl’s alligator and any princess.)
3. Coloring with Crayons or Colored Pencils
Skip the markers if you want true quiet.

We love our morning basket. I change it about every 2 days and only let them have the toys for a couple hours before I put it up.

Stuffed animals are quiet and cozy way to play. I spent hours as a kid playing with my beanie babies.
